Effective October 23, 2023, the South Economy Parking Lot at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport has shut down to undergo renovations. This has removed more than 3,000 parking spaces, potentially creating difficulty in locating a parking spot. The change comes temporary as the airport is making room to improve parking and eventually provide additional spaces, but availability will remain very limited during construction.
